Capture The Moments

Okay, this has been a crazy week, with all my kids' school matters to handle! Thank God for the school hols next week! But then again .....

Here's another layout I did using my new Prima stash. It was inspired by a lovely sketch by the super talented Anam Stubbington.

I just love this fabric tag by Donna Downey, and decided to embellish it with lace and pearls! The quote is from a Heidi Swapp sticker sheet.

Of course, it goes without saying that Prima flowers are among my favourite embellishments!

Patterned Papers - Prima IOD Flirty Little Secret Collection - Coy, Frock, Meander

Sweet Child Of Mine

This is a layout I did using practically all Prima materials, mostly from their new releases, including their Sew Cute Specialty Paper, which are absolutely gorgeous!

I cut out the frame from their Flirty Little Secret 'Coy' paper, mounted it using 3D foam dots onto their Flirty Little Secret 'Meander' paper (which I had cut into the same shape as the frame), and then stuck the entire piece down onto the Sew Cute backing paper also using 3D foam dots. This gives the layout a lot of dimension.

I also applied stickles onto almost everything except the laces and alphas, for some added sparkle and texture.

The little strip of roses on the left was cut from Prima's Journaling Notes, also from their Flirty Little Secret collection.

Materials used:
Patterned Paper - Prima's Flirty Little Secret Collection - Meander, Coy; Prima's Sew Cute Specialty Paper - Flirty Little Secret Collection
Flowers and Leaves - Prima's Jullette and Windsor Roses Collections
Title Alphas - Prima's Whispered Words in White
Flourishes - Prima's Say It In Crystals (Black)
Laces - Prima's Elysee Ribbons, Unknown
Others - Prima Journaling Notes - Flirty Little Secret Collection; Ranger Ice Stickles in Crystal Ice, EK Success 3D Foam Dots

Me & My Friends

I've been wanting to scrap this photo for the longest time, because I think it is so cute the way my daughter was sitting in front of the four statues, in an almost similar pose. And I decided that these papers from Sassafras Lass are the perfect ones to use for the layout.

I cut out the shapes and used 3D pop-up dots for some of them to add a bit of dimension.

And I added some lace and flowers to complement the layout.

I also managed to use my new Fiskars border punch!

Materials used:
Patterned Papers - Basic Grey's Wisteria Collection - Finch; Sassafras Lass' Serendipity Collection - "Sunshine Lollipop" - Gum Drop Garden, and "Happy Place" - Dream Land
Cardstock - Bazzill
Flowers - Prima
Title Alphas - American Crafts Thickers - Giggles Foam Letter Stickers in Light Blue
Others - Lace, EK Success 3D Pop-Up Dots, Fiskars Sunburst Border Punch

For Keeps

I couldn't wait to use my new and very purple Basic Grey Wisteria papers! The Gazebo paper which I chose to use as the backdrop for this layout is so pretty in itself that it needed little embellishment. I did, however, apply lots of stickles to this layout for some shimmer and texture. And I used blings to decorate the two large flower centres.

I also decorated the dragonfly sticker with blings, pearls, and stickles. And I used a piece of transparency as a backing for the dragonfly so I can flip up its wings for some dimension.

Materials used:
Patterned papers - Basic Grey Wisteria Collection - Gazebo, Garden Patio, Jardin
Dragonfly - Basic Grey Wisteria Collection Sticker Sheet
Flowers - Prima
Brads - Basic Grey Wisteria Collection
Gems - Elements Crystal Stickers
Pearls - Melissa Frances Vintage Attic Treasures
Velum Title - Quick Quotes Instant Journaling
Others - Tim Holtz Distress Ink in Dusty Concord, Ranger Ice Stickles in Crystal Ice and Crystal Silver, Ranger Stickles in Coffee Ice, EK Success 3D Pop-Up Dots, Transparency
