Enchanted

I went back to basics, so to speak, for this layout. Only flowers and a butterfly for embellishments - no mounting, no pearls or blings, no flourishes, no laces, no other embellishments. Partly because the stitched paper from Prima is already so pretty on its own.

I chose the colours of the flowers and the butterfly to match the colour of my younger daughter's dress, as well as the colours of the paper. And I added the little white roses and white alphas for the title, for a little bit of contrast.

I like how this layout turned out. A quick, nice and simple layout, that can be finished very quickly! :)

Materials used:
Patterned Paper - Prima - Specialty Paper
Flowers - Prima - Fairytale Roses "French White", Debutantes "French Lovely Lilac", Symphony Blend "Arletta Lilac", Melange "Blue Violet"
Butterfly - Prima - Andorra "Lavender"
Title Alphas - Prima Alphabets
Others - Tim Holtz Distress Ink in Dusty Concord, and Weathered Wood

Life's Portrait

One of our rare family photos, taken at a cousin's wedding last Saturday. I say "rare" because it's always either me or DH doing the photographing, so we're seldom in the same photo together!

The photo was taken without use of a flash but I thought it turned out rather nice, albeit with a slightly yellowish tone due to the "mood" lighting of the function room. To match the background, I decided to use a similarly yellowish toned cardstock from Basic Grey.

The die-cut paper is from Webster's Pages Life's Portrait Collection, as is, of course, the title as well.

I love the muted colours of the die-cut paper, and chose similar coloured flowers as embellishments.

I then used black and grey laces to balance off the black and grey border of the die-cut, as well as the Grand Dame Prima flower.

Materials used:
Cardstock - Basic Grey
Die-Cut Paper - Webster's Pages - Life's Portrait Collection - Die Cut
Title - Webster's Pages - Life's Portrait Collection - Love Yourself
Flowers - Prima - Grand Dame "Sterling", Love Story "Kissing Pink", Symphony Blend "Andante White", Lilliput Roses "Teaberry", Fairytale Roses "Baby Pink", Winter Rose "Marble Ice"
Laces - Prima, From Stash
Flourishes - Prima - Say It In Crystals
Gems - TPC Studio - Winter Blue Snowflake Brads
Others - Tim Holtz Distress Ink in Black Soot, EK Success 3D Foam Dots

Picture Perfect

Have you seen Bo Bunny's new Mama-Razzi Collection? It's just beautiful! I love the very vintage and distressed look of its papers and embellishments.

For this layout, I further distressed and inked the papers, and used a lot of 3D pop-up dots for dimension.

I also did some stamping and mixed the stamped flourishes with some Prima flowers, which were in contrasting colours to the papers and embellishments. I like how this turned out.

Materials used:
Patterned Papers - Bo Bunny - Mama-Razzi Collection - Aperture, Stripe, Word, Cut Outs
Flowers - Prima - Primrosa "Woodland", Lilliput Roses "Teaberry", Belle Arte "Nuveau", Cameo Roses "Aqua", Cameo Roses "Azalea", Essentials No. 9 "Flights Of Fancy", Essentials No. 9 "Pastiche"
Leaves - Prima - Velvet Heirloom Rose Leaves "Rugosa", Heirloom Paper Leaves "Blue Ice"
Brads - Bo Bunny - Mama-Razzi Collection iCandy Brads
Other Embellishments - Bo Bunny - Mama-Razzi Collection - Combo Stickers, iCandy Chipboard Layered Stickers

Together

I recently got my hands on Basic Grey's Green At Heart Collection. I love the colours here. But then again, I love almost anything from Basic Grey! Isn't that cardstock gorgeous?! I like its very "textured" look.

The embellishments are mainly from Prima, with brads from Basic Grey, and I got the idea of cutting the Prima embroidered tag into two, from Donna Downey herself.

The matted photo is given added dimension via some 3D pop-up dots, and I opted for some different textures by using lace ribbons and felt flourishes, also from Prima.

Materials used:
Patterned Papers and Cardstock - Basic Grey - Green At Heart Collection - Kermit, Grasshopper, Envy, Recycle, Kelly
Flowers - Prima - Fiesta Flowers "Cabo", Belle Arte "Sachette", Fairytale Roses in Baby Pink
Leaves - Prima - Calcutta Leaves "Forest", Calcutta Leaves "Sauterne", Heirloom Paper Leaves "Pecan"
Flourishes - Prima Voila Felt Ribbons
Ribbon - Prima
Fabric Tag - Prima - Donna Downey Embroidered Tag "Together"
Brads - Basic Grey - Green At Heart Collection Glazed Brads
Others - Tim Holtz Distress Ink in Frayed Burlap, EK Success 3D Foam Dots

Love Your Laughter

Me and my Primas! Here's another Prima layout I did yesterday, using papers from their Strawberry Kisses and Flights Of Fancy Collections, and of course Prima embellishments.

I distressed and inked the papers, and used 3D pop-up dots and lots of layering for definition and dimension. This is also the first time I'm using their Voila Felt Ribbons, and I love the textured effect it adds to the layout.

I also cut out the butterflies from the Flights Of Fancy Miss Pretty paper and applied stickles to them for some glitter. I then attached them to the layout using 3D pop-up dots for dimension.

Materials used:
Patterned Papers - Prima - Strawberry Kisses Collection - Daydream, Summer Picnic; Flights Of Fancy Collection - Miss Pretty, Faith
Ribbon - Prima Voila Felt Ribbon
Flowers - Prima - Grand Dame "Ambrosia", Tea Roses "Santa Rosa", Cameo Roses "Mandarin", Symphony Blend "Amoroso Pink", Innocence Collection, Flutter Vines "White"
Leaves - Prima - Velvet Heirloom Rose Leaves "Sage"
Flourishes - Prima Say It In Crystals
Alphas - Prima Cardstock Stickers - Chipboard Alphabets
Journaling - Prima - Flights Of Fancy Collection "Journaling Stickers"
Others - Tim Holtz Distress Ink in Frayed Burlap, Ranger Ice Stickles in Crystal Ice, EK Success 3D Foam Dots

The Key

The new Le’ Romantique papers from Graphic 45 are, simply put, exactly what their name suggests – romantic! So for my next project, I decided to do a wedding layout with these papers, and found the perfect complements in some Prima roses and Tim Holtz’s Idea-ology metal embellishments.

I did this layout for Custom Crops, so for a complete list of the products used and how-to instructions, you can visit their site HERE.
