Right Where You Should Be

This is the second layout from my Picadilly class.

Lots of fussy cutting of the flowers from the Home Sweet Home paper here, which are then layered over each other with 3D foam dots, for lots of dimension.

I cut a silhouette from the photo and adhered it with more 3D dots.

And the title is stamped onto a Basic Grey Picadilly collection transparency, and also adhered to the layout using 3D dots, which are hidden beneath some hand-cut flowers.

Here are more views of the layout.

Thanks so much for dropping by! :)

Smile

Gong Xi Fa Cai everyone!

This is the first of three layouts I created for my Picadilly class at Made With Love last November/December, using Basic Grey's Picadilly collection.

I did lots of tearing for this layout. I tore out three layers of frames for the photo, which was actually taken a couple of Chinese New Years ago, and also tore around the edges of the layout.

I also played with my Martha Stewart punches, and then embellished the layout with flowers, muslin, pearls, and laces for a softer look.

The journaling strips were printed out and then adhered using 3D foam dots, for dimension.

Here are more close-ups.

Thanks so much for dropping by! :)

Sweet Secrets - A New Year, A New Class

Firstly, I'd like to thank all the wonderful people who attended my Picadilly Classes at Made With Love last November and December. It was such a pleasure meeting all of you and I had so much fun working with you ladies. Hope to see all of you again soon, in my future classes!

Next, a new year, and a new class - starting this month, I'll be teaching a new class at Made With Love, using KaiserCraft's beautiful Sweet Nothings papers and wooden embellishments. We'll be working with pearls, ribbons and muslin, and incorporating hidden journaling into the layouts.

Check out the details and Made With Love's January Workshop schedule here. The layouts will be on display at the store from tomorrow.

Happy 2012!

Wishing all my dear friends and family a very happy, blessed and peaceful New Year! May all your wishes, hopes and dreams come true this 2012.

I'd like to thank everyone for all the wonderful love and support you've given me this past year, and look forward to sharing more creations with you.

I've finally moved over to my new home and have been busy unpacking and settling in so hopefully I can get started on some serious scrapping for 2012 soon! (And also get my internet connection back up!)
